2010 SPRING BREAK DAY CAMP PROGRAM
 

The Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand is now taking sign-ups for the Club’s 2010 Spring Break Day Camp program which is designed for youth 5 to 14 years of age and will be hosted at the Myrtle Beach Family Learning Center (3101 Oak Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 - the facility is also commonly known as the OLD Myrtle Beach Elementary School).  The Day Camp program is open to all youth and is organized around "kid friendly" themes and activities. 

 

The Club’s Spring Break Day Camp Program will happen the week of March 29th - April 2nd, 2010. Hours of operation for the Spring Break Day Camp Program will be Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.   Activities will include arts & crafts, sports & fitness events, technology classes, games room tournaments, community service projects, educational activities and much more.  In addition to the regular daily activities participants will be taken on field trips on Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 Bowling at Waccamaw Lanes and on Thursday April 1st, 2010 we will go to the Waccatee Zoo on Thursday, April 1st, 2010.  Field trip fees are included in the very affordable $60 per child weekly program fee. 
 
We must have a minimum of 30 registered participants to conduct the Spring Break Day Camp Program (deadline for registration minimum to be reached is Friday, March 19th, 2010).
 

All camp participants must become registered 2010 Boys & Girls Club members and have a current membership applicaiton on file (the Club's membership/registration fee is just $10 per child). 

 

Limited scholarship assistance is available beyond the Club's already low weekly fees if applicants can demonstrate hardship.  Program scholarships will be awarded on a case by case basis and are subject to the availability of scholarship funds.  If you would like to help sponsor a low-income child for the Club’s Spring Break or Summer Day Camp Program please call Don C.
