The "Tee It Up For Kids" Golf tournament is a benefit for the Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand. Funds are being raised in support of the Club's After-School & Summer programs for "At Risk" youth.
Our generous host for the tournament will once again be the Myrtle Beach National Company. The tournament will be played on the West Course at Myrtle Beach National. Each 4-person team will compete in a "Texas Scramble" format. All four players will tee off and the best drive will be selected as the spot of play - thereafter each player will play their own ball until they have finished the hole. The best two individual scores on each hole will be be added together to determine the team's score on each hole. Trophies will be awarded to the top three open division teams, top three senior teams (60 years of age and older). On course contests will include longest putt made, closest to the pin, long drive, and hole-in-one prizes.
